Project 1

Create a series of sequential still-frame images using Maya to illustrate a mechanical device or biological process.

My final concept for Problem 1 is going to be the mechanism of a V style engine.
Designing this style of engine feels the most comfortable to me, as it appears to be on the more
simple side, and I can design a V1 engine. I find how those types of engines work to be
interesting. Although there is not a lot of movement with these types of engines, depending on
how I choose to design the engine can show more movement or not. If I feel confident enough I
can model the other parts of the engine that also move. If not, I am sure with the right modeling
and lighting, I can make what I design to be interesting enough.
